Big Bull Nandi Temple Bangalore India

The Bull Temple dedicated to a sacred Bull Nandi  is located in Basavanagudi, Bangalore.   The temple is very famous tourist spot .

The Bull temple was constructed in 16th Century by Kempe Gowda, the founder and builder of Bangalore.

The sacred Bull Nandi is carved out of a single rock.    The gigantic Bull built measures 4.57 Metres in height , 6.10 metres in length.

The Bull temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva's  vahana  vehicle Nandi, the bull.
