The Vidhana Soudha houses the State Legislative Chambers. ( A view on the westren side)
In the year 1956, the Vidhana Soudha was built out of pure granite and porphyry. The statue in front of it is of Late Sri. Kengal Hanumanthaiah, the former Chief Minister of Karnataka in 1956.
Four Headed Lion atop the building is the National Symbol Of India.
