MUSIC IN THE PARK-----The programme was unique. It was on a winter evening on 13th November 2010. At the Nehru Park, one of the most beautiful parks, in Delhi, the music programme was arranged by SPIC MACAY Foundation in association with several organisations. It was at 6.30 PM, Smt. Parween Sultana began vocal recital of Hindustani Music . The chill weather did not deter a large number of music lovers to come and listen to great singing by Smt. Parween Sultana, the world reknown singer of Hindustani music.
The Nehru Park was tastefully illuminated with a beautiful back drop. The Singer was ably assisted by other artists.After that, we had Carnatic music rendered by another accomplished musician Dr. L Subramanium, Carnatic Violin. Despite continued chill weather, the gathering remain undisturbed and enjoyed the violin played by Dr.L. Subramanium. Great efforts by the organisers SPIC MACAY Foundation.
